INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Hailee Parks (Sullivan, Mo./Sullivan) was one of two players to be unanimously named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference's first team while
Kyesha Hall (Dodson, La./) was named to the All-GLVC Defensive team announced by the conference office on Tueseday.
Parks, a senior, leads the Lady Miners in scoring (14.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rbg) and is second in the GLVC in field goal percentage connecting on 53.4 percent of her attempts. She ranks fifth in the league in rebounding and 10
th in scoring. Parks was a third team All-GLVC selection as a sophomore and a second team selection last year. Maryville's Abby Duethman was the other unanimous selection.
Hall, a senior, ranks fourth in the GLVC this season in steals averaging 2.3 per contest. She had a career-high six steals in S&T's season opening 68-64 win at McKendree on Nov. 13 and then matched that total in the 58-51 win at Missouri-St. Louis on Jan. 24. Hall finished the season with 62 steals and currently has 99 steals for her career.
The Lady Miners, seeded eighth, will take on Lewis, the top seed, in the quarterfinal round of the Deaconess GLVC Tournament on Friday night at 6 p.m., at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.
