Three-year starter at linebacker who was named to the All-GLVC second team in 2012…led the Miners with 68 tackles which included 34 solo stops…had a season-high 14 tackles in the key late-season win over Urbana and added two pass breakups in that contest…also had eight tackles against Arkansas Tech and Indianapolis...led S&T with 100 tackles in the 2011 campaign to earn first-team All-GLFC honors…had a season-high 13 tackles against Oklahoma Panhandle State and South Dakota…reached double figures in the tackle department in five games…also had eight tackles for a loss and four pass breakups...recorded 37 tackles from his outside linebacker position during his first season with the Miners...played in all 11 games and had a season high of nine stops at Saint Francis...also had two quarterback sacks and 2.5 tackles for a loss...had games with five tackles against Urbana and Lincoln...played at both outside linebacker and free safety for his high school team and recorded 55 tackles with a sack and a forced fumble as a senior…was also a recipient of numerous academic awards, including academic all-district honors and an outstanding national achievement participant…competed in track and field, where he was a part of a state championship team in the 4x400-meter relay.
