Troy Johnson joined Missouri S&T in August of 2025 after spending the previous two years with the University of West Georgia, where he oversaw the campuses' football, cheer, softball, and baseball facility operations along with any third party event that takes place in the Coliseum. Johnson also oversees the set-up and tear-down of all these events, while handling security, parking, ticketing, and scheduling.
Johnson is no stranger to the Great Lakes Valley Conference, spending time with McKendree University in the 2022-23 season as the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Game Operations.
Johnson earned his Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Lindenwood University in 2022. Johnson later received his Master's in Sport Management from UWG in May of 2025.
When away from the office and facilities, Johnson enjoys following his favorite sports teams and collecting sports cards/bobble heads.
After making the move to the University of West Georgia, Johnson has settled down in Carrollton with his girlfriend, Sami and their cat, Simon.
